You Will Need:
- Beef or Venison Cube Steak, or Pork Cutlets
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of crushed chips or crackers (I save the bottom of the chip bag & place in freezer)
- 1 tsp Garlic Salt
- 1 tsp Season Salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- In one bowl mix all the dry ingredients
- In the other bowl mix the milk and eggs
- Dip one steak into egg mixture
- Then dip into dry mixture on both sides.
- repeat the process. I like to double dip ours. Creates a little thicker crust.
- Drop each coated steak into heated skillet (medium heat) with about 1/4-1/2 inch oil. Bacon grease gives the best flavor.
- Brown on each side until Golden Brown. If you use bacon grease, they will be darker in color. Don't worry, Its not burnt, UNLESS YOU BURN THEM :)
- Serve over rice with gravy or with mashed potatoes and gravy.
