Ham and Beans

This is such a yummy recipe!!


You will Need:

2-1 lb bags of navy beans.  Soak over night, and rinse.
Bone in ham (I use the leftover bone in ham from a previous meal. I freeze them)
1 16oz can of tomato sauce
1 bag of carrots shredded
3-4 garlic cloves chopped
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp season salt

After you have soaked the beans over night and rinsed, place beans and all other ingredients in your crockpot in the morning. Fill the remainder of space with water.  Cook all day on high.  When you get home from work, pull the rest of ham off the bone.  Most of it falls off during cooking.  Remove the bone from crockpot.  Ready to eat.  We like to serve it over sweet cornbread.  If you do not have a good recipe for cornbread, I have one under perfect pastries and breads.  Enjoy.
